I Have A Dream

Chasing goals, chasing dreams, chasing goals, chasing dreams. My life wouldn’t be quite the same without these goals and dreams I set for myself…

I HAVE A DREAM

The past few months have been spent concretising the various steps to achieving a long-time dream in 2013.  This explains the silence…

I HAVE A DREAM

I cannot seem to find the right words to describe my excitement, anticipation, trepidation at the road ahead in 2013. Maybe three letters would suffice…WOW!

I HAVE A DREAM

Join me as I go along this journey. The journey of realising my dream of running 7 marathons on 7 continents! North America, Asia, Australia and Europe continents are in the bag and marathons in the continents of Africa, South America and Antarctica beckon in  2013. While doing so, I am raising funds for the elderly and I hope to increase awareness of the needs of the elderly. All this is in remembrance of my grand-mother “Ah Ma” who brought me up and without whom, I would not be who I am today.

I HAVE A DREAM

The journey begins on http://www.yvonne7marathons7continents.com. Join me as I embark upon these new running adventures in 2013. Spread the word and if possible, do consider making a donation towards the elderly assisted by the TSAO Foundation in Singapore. Thank you for the support!

What I think about while walking around Paris

I’ve always loved autumn/fall. The falling leaves and autumn rain bring out the romantic, almost melancholic side of a city…

Squinting my eyes while taking this shot opposite Musée d’Orsay, I was thankful that there was a glimpse of sunlight breaking through the grey clouds and gloomy rain…

I’ve never noticed that the lamp-posts on Place de la Concorde were painted green…what a strange colour for a lamp-post…

Need I say more?

Where’s the Bright Yellow Ball?

The days are getting shorter while the hemlines are getting longer…

The bright yellow ball is mischievously playing hide-and-seek, meanwhile the somber sky lingers…

Flowers once radiant are withering away as winter hollers…

It’s getting cold, it’s getting dark…

The Heart Goes Pitter Patter

The heart goes pitter patter

and a smile emerges on the face…

That happens when I arrive at unknown cities and countries…

So much to see, to imbibe, to discover and to learn…

Arriving in Iceland did just that to me…

Be still my heart…

I felt like a little kid once again wanting to discover everything around me…

So much to see, to imbibe, to discover and to learn…

And the heart goes pitter patter…
